The seagulls hover overhead as the farmers begin to set up their
booths every Thursday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. The Morro Bay Farmers' Market
smells of the ocean, but reaps the rewards of the land. Farmers from as far
south as Goleta, east as Delano, and north as Salinas come to sell their goods
at this Thursday afternoon market.
This Morro Bay market is nestled just off of Highway 1, north of
the Highway 41 junction. Vendors set up their fruits
and vegetables and sell their seasonal
goods to local marketgoers and people who happen to be passing by
on Highway 1.
If you live in Morro Bay, you are sure to run into a neighbor, friend,
or co-worker while shopping at this community market.
