Gottschalk's Parking Lot, San Luis Obispo Saturday 8 – 10:30 a.m. If you live in San Luis Obispo, it's hard to shop at the Saturday morning farmers' market without running into at least one person you know. This is the biggest little market in SLO, a community market with a social feel. Over the past few years the market has grown to over 60 vendors and is the busiest of the SLO County Farmers' Market Association's five markets. Once a quarter you can find local chef's cooking up a storm during demonstration cooking displays. Occasionally youíll find local artists out painting the scene, or authors on site for a book signing.
