- Japanese or globe eggplant, sliced lengthwise
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Salt & pepper
A few eggplant varietals among many at the 2012 National Heirloom Exposition in Santa Rosa, California
Slice eggplant lengthwise. Brush slices with olive oil and squeeze some lemon juice over the eggplant. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Grill on barbecue until done.
